- There is no charge for a tour of the Center; however, we suggest a $5.00 per person donation to help support our not-for-profit programs and exhibitions.
- Make reservations for your group by calling 215.923.8000. Please include the following:
- 1. Date and time you are interested in visiting the Center.
- 2. The number of people in your group.
- 3. Contact information including name, phone number and address for the person coordinating the tour.
- 4. Please let us know of any special interests your group might have so we may tailor your visit.
- Tours generally last one hour, with additional time to browse. A few seats are available for those wishing to rest during the visit.
- If your group is interested in a hands-on lathe demonstration, we will need to know at least 3-4 weeks in advance. There is a $50.00 fee for the demonstration.
- Street parking is available, but limited. Please plan to drop walking challenged guests off at the front door before searching for parking. There are parking lots and garages within 3-4 blocks. One of the closest garages is Parkominium which is located at 231 North 2nd Street (between Race Street and Vine Street). There is also a parking garage on Race Street between 4th and 3rd Streets. Click here if you need Directions, or get directions from Google Maps.
- Dining recommendations: Radicchio Italian restaurant (215.627.6850) is located approximately two blocks from the Center. This small sit-down BYOB cafe is delightful and busy at lunch and dinner time. PLEASE NOTE: They do not take reservations.
- The Center's research library is also available by appointment for researching wood artists and contemporary crafts. PLEASE NOTE: We request that you schedule an additional visit for the research library.
