Group Tour Information There is no charge for a tour of the Center; however, we suggest a $5.00 per person donation to help support our not-for-profit programs and exhibitions. Make reservations for your group by calling 215.923.8000. Please include the following: 1. Date and time you are interested in visiting the Center. 2. The number of people in your group. 3. Contact information including name, phone number and address for the person coordinating the tour. 4. Please let us know of any special interests your group might have so we may tailor your visit. Tours generally last one hour, with additional time to browse. A few seats are available for those wishing to rest during the visit. If your group is interested in a hands-on lathe demonstration, we will need to know at least 3-4 weeks in advance. There is a $100.00 fee for the demonstration. ($75 fee for non-profits.) Street parking is available, but limited. Please plan to drop walking challenged guests off at the front door before searching for parking. There are parking lots and garages within 3-4 blocks. One of the closest garages is Parkominium which is located at 231 North 2nd Street (between Race Street and Vine Street). There is also a parking garage on Race Street between 4th and 3rd Streets. This small sit-down BYOB cafe is delightful and busy at lunch and dinner time. PLEASE NOTE: They do not take reservations. The Center's research library is also available by appointment for researching wood artists and contemporary crafts. PLEASE NOTE: We request that you schedule an additional visit for the research library.
