| Virginia Dotson's work is a unique departure from turned lamination standards set by Rude Osolnik in the 1960s and 70s. The classical form is constructed out of contrasting laminated patterns of Baltic birch and hardwoods. Her approach is painterly as opposed to Osolnik's decorative approach. Dotson has an MFA in woodworking. | |||||
