Dinner and Auction Gala
raise $10,015 for the
Wood Turning Center

July 29 was a grand finale for the residents before they departed for the Emma Lake Conference in Canada. The day opened with the Wood Turning Center Annual meeting. The big news there was the opening of the new Wood Turning Center at Fifth and Vine in downtown Philadelphia, near the Ben Franklin Bridge. The annual meeting and luncheon were followed by the AllTURNatives: Form and Spirit presentation and panel discussion. This was cut short by word that the neighboring Berman Gallery was filled with visitors awaiting the opening Gallery Talk. Collectors and wood turning enthusiasts had filled the gallery.
