To all the Center's loyal supporters and friends listed below - we are thrilled to announce that your contributions helped us exceed the $40,000 challenge presented to us in June by Robyn Horn and the Windgate Charitable Foundation. Your donations will support educational programs and will help us execute an exciting Move to new quarters in a busy location ... "when it is ready." Windgate recently sent the Center their $100,000 grant, in response to us raising over $40,000 from you- our grass roots supporters.

Now we have received a new $20,000 Challenge Grant
from an anonymous source.
Inspired by this recent success, a long-time friend of the Center has given the Center a new challenge for fall fundraising and end-of-year giving. If you would still like to contribute, all donations will again be doubled.
Current and Future Goals
· Michael Peterson's retrospective, Evolutions/Revolutions, opens at the current Center on November 5th, 2010. Michael will be attending special events November 12 and 13 where you can meet him and hear him speak about his work. A beautiful and informative color catalogue will be available at the Center.
· 2011 marks the Center's 25th Anniversary - we are planning exhibits and celebrations to mark this anniversary
· New space and new programming
Membership in the Friends of the Wood Turning Center provides a critical 10% of our annual budget. Public grants are still way down, but individual giving is up to help fill this void.
The new $ 20,000 challenge grant is a perfect example of friends helping friends! We ask you to renew your membership and make an additional donation now to meet the $20,000 challenge this Fall.
